Gordon Taylor is president of Eagle Thread Verifier, LLC, the makers of the patented automatic thread gauge. Prior to being named president in 2004 after the passing of company founder, Alphonso Peplinski, Gordon was a sales engineer with the company.
Gordon has enjoyed over a half century as a toolmaker and engineer, working for several companies along the way. He was educated at Detroit College of Applied Science, specializing in Special Machine Building. After his tool maker apprenticeship, he went on to serve as tool room supervisor, department superintendent, plant manager, project engineer, etc. at several machine shops, including Wolverine Tool, Detroit; Speedring (Aero Space-Rockets), Warren; Delta Associated Industries, Ferndale; RWC (Resistance Welder Corp), Bay City; Huntington Automation Inc. (Subsidiary of RWC) Huntington, Indiana; and Cellular Concepts, Detroit.
Today Gordon is enjoying his role as president of Eagle Thread Verifier, and sees no need to retire anytime soon. He is married (51 years) and enjoys his three grown children and four grandchildren. Gordon resides in Sterling Heights, Mich.
